Ford Falcon XR6 - For Sale

The vehicle shown in the photograph is the Falcon XR6 which was developed by Ford in conjunction with Tickford Engineering (better known in the UK for their work with Aston Martin). The XR6 is a rear wheel drive sports saloon with the Tickford developed 4.0L high output Ford engine, a 5 speed manual transmission, Tickford sports suspension, alloy wheels and a body styling kit. Being an XR6 translates to a top speed of 140+ mph, lots of mid range torque, a 0 to 60 time of around 8 seconds whilst still returning in excess of 25 mpg. In addition to having the sports options it also comes as standard with power assisted steering, ABS brakes, factory fitted engine immobiliser, airbag, air conditioning, electric windows, electric sunroof, electric mirrors, central locking, fully adjustable steering column, height adjust seats and a 6 speaker stereo system.

All the usual service items such as brakes, oil filters etc. are common with other UK vehicles and can easily be obtained from any good parts stockist. With the advent of the internet and email the Falcon specific parts can be obtained within a few days direct from Australia often at lower prices than comparable UK parts.

This vehicle was imported new into the UK and registered in November 1995. In total it has had four owners, the first of which was the importing company and the second and fourth being the present owner.
